 | IntroductionI have loved photography since Jr. High, always snapping pictures, but when I got pregnant with my first son, I found a new passion in childbirth. I am a photographer of all things beautiful and true. I am support for laboring women. I am a wife to my best friend. I am a mother of three. My PassionsI capture families, children and babies, weddings, graduations, births or any other significant occasion. As a doula, my main goal is to help families have a satisfying birth experience. Given the opportunity, I LOVE to be able to put them together! |
Approach to photography
Being a bride/mom/daughter myself, I understand the important shots that need to be captured. I like to get a feel for who I am working with so I can bring out their best! I look for the best angles and adapt to any location (I like to capture people in places that are significant to them). I work hard to capture the beauty in front of me.
Approach to childbirth
I believe a woman's body was made to give birth. She is capable, strong and needs people surrounding her telling her just that. Childbirth is full of unknowns, but having a doula present is to have a consistant, supportive presence. As a doula, I bring understanding, patience, acceptance and knowledge to the table. I believe birth should be peaceful and empowering. My goal is to help women achieve their best birth.
